How to Weigh Your Cat or Dog

Posted by Protect My Pet on

Owning a cat or dog is one of the most rewarding privileges but it's not not without it's responsibilities. One important responsibility is ensuring your pet stays at a healthy weight.

We are here to make your life easier and ensure your cat or dog stays completely up to date on their flea, tick and worming treatments the hassle-free way.

All that we ask is that you keep us up to date with your pet's weight. This is necessary to ensure they receive the correct dose of flea, tick and worming treatments.

Pet's are typically weighed and reported in Kilograms (kg).

If you have standard bathroom scales you can weigh your pet at home. The easiest way to do this is to get on the scales holding your pet, then subtract your own weight.

If you have a large breed dog or are unable to lift your pet, most large pet shops and veterinary practices have large scales in their waiting room and will be happy for you to weigh your pet.
